heez.. yupz! me am nineteen already!!! =) well.. to be exact, its been 12 days since i m nineteen...
went to malaysia for a climbing trip on 4th and spent my bdae there. =) not the first time spending it overseas though. the first time was, i think, 2 years back. went taiwan for the immersion program and my bdae fell on the day before we depart back to s'pore. and i remembered we had to put up a performance on that day when we had our farewell dinner. an indian dance, to be exact. hahah... hiliarious but nonetheless, quite fun. =)
i think sometime later... if i m free and not feeling so lazy... shall blog about my taiwan trip 2 years back.. hee... memories are quite fresh though... =)
well... it's been a memorable bdae celebration this year. hee... the climbers on the trip kinda surprised me with the surprise celebration.
hee... they kinda gave me a small slice of "cake" during the dinner at fish n co and told me that they were on a budget, hence that little slice and no gifts. well... at that point i was kinda glad that at least they sang me a bdae song and wasnt expecting anything more.
when we got back to the hotel, after bathing, was about to fall asleep reading the comic book when seok hui and jie ying, my roomies for the trip, asked if i wanted to refill water. went down with them and when we came back, seok told me to switch on the lights and viola! the rest of the climbers were inside the room with the cake. and gave me a present, which was a small little bag that i saw during the trip and had wanted to buy but didnt. =)
and then they started telling me how they plan this surprise... right down to the teeny weeny details and how the plan changed once and again... like how... the refilling water part was part of the plan and how they had wanted to celebrate it in fish n co... but it was on the eve and they didnt want... so... was very very touched at that moment! thanks guys!!! =)
hmm... and of coz... not forgetting... celebrating it with ph they all la!!! =)
went to sentosa on fri with my tut grp mates, the day after i came back from m'sia. and then went to meet ph they all for kbox.
and when i went back to the room from the toilet... they had a cake for me! well... at that moment... it didnt register to me that the kbox was to celebrate my bdae! i thought it was just a gathering coz it had been a long time since we had one. hahah... seriously, this came as a surprise! and i remembered they did it the previous year too! celebrated my bdae at kbox and had the cake for me too! thanks thanks!
aww... was super touched la... =)
(pardon the recurring use of the word surprise, because other than "surprise", yours truly cant think of any other word in this cold cold night)
waiting for my bro to come back from japan... hah... plane should have landed already... hurry up la... =)
